Ask help from your boss

As we know that we must have many problem in the office and sometimes the problem has already up to the limit and makes us stressful in the office. Sometimes the problem unable to solved in our level and we must work with someone who has higher level and able to fight with the other parties who has same level with him, that's the reason we must open up our problem to our own boss.
If we have problem and unable to solved it ourselves , we must not delay to report it to our boss. The longer you express it, the more severe your problem anyway. Unless you are sure to finish it by yourselves. Inform the problem to our boss, at least he could immediately think of a solution together. So you will avoid a worse situation. But we must really sure that he can handle the problem as well. Otherwise he will come back and push us to solve, not really helpful at all..
What do you think? Have you experienced this kind of problem? Have your boss offer good solution or vice versa?

It depends on what kind of problem it is. If it's related to work, we have to use our God given gift to solve it at least in the first stage. If we succeed, we were able to polished again our God given gift and that brings us to the next level. Problems with consequent burdens that if we think we are not in the capacity to solve by our own, that's the time we seek help to our Superiors as they are the only ones who can make better decissions.
On the other hand, if we are suffering due to personal or financial problems, we better not to say if we do not have a strong foundation alined with our bosses.

Well, you have good points. Sometimes people unable to separate between personal or professional problem.. Meaning sometimes they can’t handled difficult colleagues due to personal problem and asked their boss to working with, which is not right in the long run..You are right, if we have strong foundation and good relationship with our boss then we can solve any problem in the office.. That’s the reason I used to have great boss who treat us as a friends outside works, so we were really open with him on any hard situation we facing in the office..Sometimes he asked us to going lunch with him, so that we can discuss the works in relaxing moments..

That could be more realistic my friend.
We should have good relatioship with our bosses so we will be happier on and off our jobs. In a sense, if we try to keep open in a profesional way, there's no shy and hiding factors, as long as both parties has a cycle of strongest attributes, then that's it carry on. Time to shine.

First we should try our best to solve our problems on our own. I'm sure there has to be a solution to it. If you are unable to solve the issue the try consulting your colligue. If the problem still persists...then we must approach our boss. My boss is a smart man and feels that all the things can be done. We have to think ten times before approaching him for help. If you have a negative opinion about anything he never listens.. Thats what i hate about him. But the bright side is that he always gives you a solution and eventually the problem is solved. You should try to tackle problems on your own. On the otherhand... if you dont want to waste time and energy...just go straight to your boss and tell him about the problem and get it solved then and there..

Well, you are lucky to have him as a boss, seems he is great boss to working with..I agree with you, we have to measure the task and assess the difficulty as earlier as possible, rather than wasting our time to solve and failed to do it at the end of the day..We should also observed our boss capacity and also whether he is busy or not to settle..However, if we are really unsure that the task need his help then we must approach him in the first place. I think many of the stressful employee could be because of this reason.. They do not know how to solve the problem or their boss do not care about their problem.. I know this kind of boss who want the good report and avoid to hear the bad ones, who also wants to save themselves and avoid to take any risky decision..appreciate your great response..

i agree with you. Reporting to your boss is something that they too appreciate. This happened to me when i had been sick and there are so many paperwork on my table. I told my boss that my table has a ticking bomb and that i need another hand to rescue me. I asked her if my colleague can be my extra hand. She liked the idea. Bosses dont like if you report a problem that has really exploded on their faces. They prefer earlier action in order to avoid problems in the office.

Hi omchesunche,
I agree with you it is better to inform our boss if we can't solve the problem. But let's see to it that we have already try to do all the things needed before calling our boss' attention.
