Hi Myfb, maybe you have chosen the wrong topic for writing! I think you can write about the different places of interest in your country. That will attract many readers from other parts of the world. I think your country really has a lot to offer, but most of the writers are not really keen to write about it. Singapore is just the opposite. Too many articles are written about the different places of interest already. if I were to focus on that, the articles will not get rank.

Hi Hazelme, the cost of living in Singapore is very high, and the US dollar to Singapore dollars exchange rate is very low. If I were to stay in China, the current passive income is enough to ensure a comfortable living. But here, the money is just enough for transportation cost and internet and handphone bill. It is not enough for anything else. I think I need at least two thousand dollars per month to live reasonably here, and that is provided I do not fall sick.

Scheng, same like you, i will need to earn that much as well, to be able to live a comfortable life in my country. Because things are getting expensive now, so the more extra money we can earn, is the better. Now, i am trying to put more time back into online, so able to earn much more from it. Happy new year to you...

it depends on what you mean as making a living I do make a couple of hundred dollars a bout but that would not be enough to sustain myself, I don't write for the sites you mentioned though.

I do write but i am not making a living of it. I have tried triond but they do not pay well enough for the content written. I have not tried the other sites mentioned though.

Its possible to earn a living thru writing, if you are hardworking and devote a lot of time to writing. If you have long years of experience in writing one can be a professional write and earn supplemental income from it.

I don't make a living writing online yet, but I do write. It takes lots of time and effort to earn a comfortable living online. You must develop your own writing service or business in order to earn a good amount of money. Working for the writing sites you states in your discussion won't earn you enough money for your efforts.

Hello Hazel, I write for several sites. They include Helium, Associated Content, Expert Column as well as other sites. I have six blogs as well. I hope this helps.
