As we all know, people always have many choice about activities to celebrate new year. Most of us maybe only going to downtown and watching fireworks there. Actually, if we have spare times and money many things we can do..I used to traveled somewhere to interesting tourist destination which offer excitement during new year, basically we want to feel the day change from 31 dec to 1 jan during midnight. So I have experienced to do camping in the mountains, do hiking and prepare at least have reach the peak before midnight. Then we watched the first sun in the new year at altitude. Welcoming the new year in open air and seeing horizon in front of use..it feels fantastic to see sun rise on new year. It will be my unforgettable memory of new year. Although the mountain is not new for us, we have visit many times but still the atmosphere felt different during new year..How about you? Have you got experienced like that? How do you fell about those experienced?

Climbing a mountain is a very good idea to celebrate the new year. Seeing the sunrise on new years day sounds magical to me. I used to do lots of hiking and camping. Now I have a son in a wheelchair I stay in locally owned guest houses and walk on wheelchair access routes. In my lifetime I have climbed three mountains: one in Norway, one in Australia and one in New Zealand. I hope you will very much enjoy your time by the mountain celebrating the new year.
