Hey guys it's James here and just wondering how it will feel to turn 18 for the first time in my life? As a student in high school, classes are becoming harder, meeting newer friends, & maybe want to have my own job soon. How did you all felt or going to feel when hitting this pre-adult age? I myself, am a little bit nervous because of going to college after I graduate or owning my own house and apartment with a roomate and lots of stuff going on, including to be able to drive. ^^

legeally you are able to do some thing with law. but most of the childrens are these days already grow up and understands what is good and bad. my advise is that they need to wait before they become adult acually.

Being 18 isn't pre adult hood. Turning 18 means by law you are an adult pre adutlt hood is your teen years before your 18. When I turned 18 it was no different then any other age. I'm 23 now and since I was 18 it's really no big deal jus another year one year old and a happy mommy and wife. It just meant I had more responsabilties and have more freedom to do as I will with out my parents knowledge.

At 18 I had my first job because my parents made me go out and get one. I was nervous and afraid that I couldn't do my best but everything worked out great. I also got my first bank account then. Since I heard so many stories about people being kicked out of their homes once they turned 18, I was afraid because I had no place to go. 18 is still young to live on your own. Fortunately my parents didn't do that with me.

I am 20 now. I can tell you when I turned 18 I was like "oooohhhh space ships I'll have to pay for medical insurance myself now and for this and for that.... ooommmggg I'm never going to make ends meet..." ( and I am not even a girl... :P) and in the end it appears being an adult is not really that bad if you have your stuff together. I actually live with roommates now and in the beginning it was very exciting but now it's just part of my life. The slower internet and all the daily tasks sucked lolly pops but yeah well you get to live with it. ;-) It's not bad to be nervous about it. It's an important period of your life. :)
