crazy! crazy world! i cannot even affort to buy the apples now!

Red apples are considered better because the red pigments in the apple,s skin have antioxidant properties. Alot of the red apples have varying amount of polyphenols, strong antioxidants, anti-cancer compounds and high levels of the antioxidant antiocyanin. Green apples convert less sugar so can be consumed by people with pre-diabetas and diabetes.So apple is a food with lot of health benefits and is in a need to common people.

Sadly everything is going up. Though I will say I have noticed major juice brands using apple juice concentrate from China, perhaps they make more money exporting than selling to their own consumers? As I've often wondered what happened to all the orchards here that we have to import juice concentrates? Eitherway,we buy apples cheaply by buying seconds from a local orchard. I pay .39/lb USD which for here is very CHEAP! Actually the orchard is quite a bit cheaper than the regular grocery store which sells apples sometimes for about $2-3/LB USD depending on the variety of course. It is very hard to make a living indeed no matter where you are in the world.

True. Inflation is inevitable. Sadly, not all people are able to beat it. I also noticed that prices of commodities in my country has gone up. Thus, I am now scouting for other places to buy at a cheaper price. Also, I try to find cheaper alternatives. For instance instead of buying grapes, I just skip it or just buy in smaller quantity. It's really becoming crazier but hope everyone can still find the reason to smile and enjoy what we have despite these things.
