Does the restauant charge extre fee for open your own wine?

Supposed you bring your own wine to the restaurant. Is it reasonable for they to charge you extra fee for it? Since the wine doesn't belong to this restaurant so that they need to charge it. Here some restaurants have this rule. But sometimes it is not fair because this fee is expensive.

Yes, I have heard of these corkage fees. It does seem expensive in some cases. I believe they make it expensive in order to discourage patrons from bringing their own. I do accept that there should be some fee for the use and cleaning of glass, and the waitstaff still serving. I have never before paid one of these fees, myself.
