would you send a birthday present to an ex-friend

My ex friend hasn't spoke to me for two months after falling out, it was my fault and I sent a letter of apology but he is still ignoring me. I'm hurt because I've forgiven him hurtful things in the past. We were friends for thirty years and I miss him dreadfully. Would you still send a birthday present to end things on a better note, even if you knew you probably won't get a response?

hi jennab! my answer would be yes because it lets them know that someone still cares about them even tho u have gone ur seperate ways. i even say happy birthday to my ex bf when i can. it will take them a while to forgive u cuz thats just how some people r. i know i have been there in that same boat and its very frustrating because even tho u have forgiven them, they r not willing to forgive u yet. just wait and be patient and dont let it get to u. he will come around soon just watch :)

No I wouldn't, you did the right thing with your apology, if they don't accept that apology then I think you have to accept that. Time to move on with your life I think.
