Best 5.1 woofer

I am going to buy new 5.1 speaker surround. I don't know any detail about it. Which is the best whose cost is between Rs.3000 to 4000. Which company's product do i prefer.

i have an old 5.1 surround computer speaker and the casing is made out of black wood, the brand is Creative.
But i heard that 5.1 is best in playing computer games, and to experience a movie live effect then a 7.1 surround speakers is the editors choice.

Can you explain me what is the difference between 5.1 & 7.1 woofer with sub woofer speakers and which one is better for home entertainment.
