How to get my hands on DotA 2 keys

It's been a long time since I have been waiting to play dota 2, and it seems somewhat possible now as the beta keys are being sent out and I heard those who receive that can also invite others. I really want one of those as I can't wait to play what icefrog has created. I have steam account and want that game very very much but can't seem to get my hands on it. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
