there has been a lot of controversies with regard to the past Philippine travel logos/slogans. Now it's 2012 the Department of Tourism launched a New logo/slogan, for me it looks simple and colorful, I love how they were creative with the image of the Philippine archipelago. I'll give it a 8/10, I guess I'm looking for a deeper message rather than It's more fun in the Philippines. To my fellow Filipinos what do you think about the logo? To the Foreigners what do you think about it? It is convincing or atrractive? Will the statement It's more fun in the Philippines and the logo/slogan appeal to you? will you consider going to the Philippines because of it? I'd love to hear from all of you!

the logo is okay but the funny thing is all other companies or agencies, schools, work used the same logo to attract people! :)

yes, probably because the logo is a general term. but i guess what's important is the meaning behind that logo. i think it's happier and cheaper when you travel to the Philippines :)

I don't need a slogan to get me interested in visiting a particular country. I heard a similar slogan whilst in Belize. " You won't belize how beautiful it is". The word "belize" is like "believe". The two words sound alike hey. I give around seven out of ten for the slogan "It's more fun in the Philippines". All they need it is photo of Palawan. A famous castle photo makes people wish to visit Germany. When I think of the Philippines I feel it is "island hopping under the tropical sun" and "Hundreds of tropical islands to enjoy". I wish to go to the Philippines for some island hopping and snorkeling.

hello there! gee that's great, yes a picture indeed paints a thousand words. well I guess you are right, the real image of the country is more important than any slogan! you are welcome to visit the Philippines anytime, Palawan is such a beautiful place indeed. I also have some suggestions for you, the HUNDRED islands, it a collection of more than a hundred small islands here where i live in Pangasinan. It's beautiful actually because it hasn't been commercialized since people here are protecting the natural environment of the place. I hope you visit the Philippines someday! :)

Hi Mavil! It may have the colors but i think that it is still pale... it is as if it still aint sinking into me unlike Gordon's Wow Philippines. Right you are... even i am looking for a deeper message.. i felt that "it is more fun in the Philippines" is also a bit toooooo long to catch my eye... Cant they think of a single word that could at least match the "wow??"

I was watching the news two nights ago and a lot of opinions were said about the slogan. I heard that it was trending in the Philippines and also around the world that day they soft-launched it. well yes its too long i guess, I was thinking of Malaysia truly asia and it was said in the news that a FILIPINA thought of the malaysia truly asia concept! I was like.. filipino talent for the benefit of others.. anyway they also mentioned wow philippines! they said that for the past 5-6 years? that they used wow philippines it never had a big impact on tourism in the Philippines that's why the DOT needed to change it. anyway, I'll still support the new fun logo/slogan for the love of my country :D have a great day!
