Mobile operator O2 is to provide free internet to residents and visitors in central London and lunching the largest free wi-fi zone Eourope. This will deliver free conectivity to all tourists visiting the capital of London. They can share what they see, or upload a photo from Olympic Games in 2012. The peeople will have full access to the social networks like Facebook and Tweeter.

In my eyes, in future you will have free wifi access all around the globe (like it is with the mobile phones right now). Thats just how I see the future of networking and It may never happen, but I'm pretty sure it will. About the topic.. this is great, but there are plenty of people in the London City (Central London) and what will happen if 10'000 or more people connect (as it is pretty possible)? I think they thought of that, but still, maybe the connection will be slow as hell..

I hope O2 make a good access points with a lot of traffic and the conection to be good. But you are right, 10 000 at the same time will slow the conection. We can pray and we can wait.
