What do you do to defuse anger ?

When angry, the habits of people different to another, there's like slamming anything, shouting, snapping, kicking, ranting, etc I just sit and snapping How about you ? What do you do when you angry ? and how to defuse anger ?

Hello luckgrey67, Your discussion , though on very common subject, is also a very important matter. Anger is very bad.....if you cannot control on you anger, you can loose your dear one's and can also cause damage that cannot be repaired, because once the words are out of your mouth....you cannot take them back and sometimes no sorry can make the things same........I was and am now also very hot tempered, and use to shout and bang things in the past. But now I learned an easy why to defuse my anger.....when I get angry on someone, I try to change place with him. In my thoughts I try to think that if I was in his/her place.......how would I feel.......and that automatically cools me down. After all we all make mistakes and there are times when others get angry at us...and at that time we only wish the person would forgive us.......so we should also cool down and forgive the person.....this not only puts good impression on others, but also somewhere inside gives you peace that you gave happiness to someone in spite of his mistake.Forgiving is like a blessing.....which benefit both, one who forgives and one who is forgiven.So try this next time. May be you will change your thinking.

You have totally control on your emotion that's good, I should learning something from you. I'm young and fragile....very hard to control my emotion, sometimes if I was angry with someone, I just shout and bang, left and unforgiven. I'm realize, that's bad things

You are right for your age .......you see, we grow fast, but we mature slowly only when we start getting gray hair....I was like you at your age....you will be like me at my age...so don't worry be happy. and have a nice day.

If I'm angry, I prefer silent, and shy away from all things that make me angry, until my anger subsided a little.

Silent is good way to defuse your anger, but for me, it's very hard to do.

I think that I really am going to take a breath and just try and walk away from the situation when I can. Of course, that is often times really something that is much easier said than done. But there are just going to be a lot of times where I am going to be rather frustrated to say the very least and there are times where I am on the cusp of snapping. So I walk away, take a deep breath. If I can actually step outside, I can really calm down a bit faster. There is just something about fresh air that is just most liberating, that is something that gives me plenty of piece. Something that gives me time to take a deep breath. Of course, being in the same room with the person who causes the anger, that is seldom going to be something that is going to be a smart idea.

when i am angry to somethings not good , to someone did bad, i just keep myself busy , go to somewhere , like shopping malls, groceries, bookstores. if i stayed in the house, i listen to music, sing and dance ... and of course, if i can go to church as soon as possible, and wherever i am i really pray... pray.. pray... have a blessed day !

I bite my tongue when i feel angry.. and its an effective way. or start countin from 99 to 0. or.. you could take a deep breath and release.it helps.

When i am angry i can just tell something wrong then i shout, i may kick or snap. It depends on how angry i am. But sometimes i have an anger inside me. So i just sit and think what i should do to make those people who make me angry feel worse... :)

I love to eat when I'm anger,mad or irritated and wanted to defused it.I like to eat my favorite foods.Sometimes I sleep or listen to music.Go to some place like mall or hang out with a friend's place.

if i'm just mad i swear. if i'm angry i swear like a sailor and somewhat twitch, if anger continues i tend to punch or kick the closest thing.
