Just yesterday, I have got a message in my yahoo mail from someone who is not from my contact list, it keep blinking and reminding me that I have got a message from this person, but after I tried to look at everywhere within my yahoo mail, I can't even find a link to read that message. Do you own a yahoo mail, do you know how to read the message if it is send by someone who is not in you contact list? Have you encounter such a experience before? Please share and help! Thank you!

Hi there, I think that message is the chat feature of Yahoo Mail. You have to just go to that tab and it will appear at the bottom right of Yahoo site.

Hi yspmyl The older yahoo account that I had, had this feature of Chatting from withing the Yahoo website (similar to what you got here) And yes, there was one person (our officemate) who had sent me a message. The blink continued even after I had seen the message and even responded to it. But the blink was on. After two days, it automatically went away. Later he told me that he had forgotten to log out of his Yahoo ID after that chat and maybe that is why it kept coming on again. On the new account that I created a few weeks ago(I had to as one of my clients works only with yahoo) I still dont find any chat or online button for me and I had to download an IM for chatting at Yahoo

Hi thesids, I can see message from friends who are in my contact list, but for message from someone who is not in the contact list, I can't find any way to get to the message. I think the new yahoo mail have embedded the IM into their script, and it is more like a java script. I will try to upgrade my java and hopefully it will works. Now the message have gone after a new message came in, and still I have no way to see the message from that "stranger".
