Im planning of getting new internet connection but not sure which one is better

Im tired with my current internet connection and its very slow and always hung up so i need to keep on refreshing the page until it goes on again. im currently using a usb stick on broadband and im planning to have a line trying to choose wimax or dsl but not sure which one is better.

I'm using broadband, too, but I suggest you use WIFI instead. It's faster than DSL from what I know. You should check your area's status, though, if you have sufficient cell sites to handle your internet connection.

i also wish to have wifi coz im using laptop but theres no wifi connection in our area.

We are ssometimes having problems with Internet connection too. Some days we don't have 5 days of connection. There were a lot of people who responded on my past discussion about a good ISP and they said DSL is better as it's connection is good and fast.

my friend said wimax is more faster right now as shes using it and she said its more convenient so i prefer to apply for it though of course everyone says dsl so now im into change of mind.

go for cable or DSL. you will always have connection problems with wireless broadband simply because it depends alot on network signals to get internet to your computer. a simple cloudy sky would already be a deterrent to your connection.
