is 4S so much worth buying?

i saw a picture about thousands of APPLE fans wait outside the Apple Store in Beijing Sanlitun to snap up the iphone 4S on the eve of the release for chinese mainland... gosh,,thousands of people,cold winter night ,around the store,,,insane... is it really worth? i doubt//

Crazy people waiting for an awesome phone. Like apple promised , it oughta be the best thing they've ever released , but based on reviews certain other smartphones beat it easily..

There is limited data availability and the iphone4s uses twice as much as the previous model so get ready for slower delivery and outages. The iphone is very advanced and I like it but I don't wish to own one. People keep their whole life on these things, I remember when people use to carry a file-o-fax now the phone does the job and takes good quality pictures as well. There is no need to own a 4s as other phones can do most things well but some people have to have the latest tech.
