Last Sunday, I had a nice resting time after lunch , watching alternately, ASAP & Party Pilipinas in our bedroom . With my feet up in a stool while reclining on a couch, I was having a blast in watching the performances. I couldn’t help but notice one thing though , the artists at ASAP are more prettier & more handsome . Though, at Party Pilipinas, the artists can also perform very well and the way the program is going on, it’s more livelier. That’s what good with the competition of the networks, they really make their programs specially the two above shows, so entertaining!

Although I am not fond of watching both shows now. My grandma and mom are watching so sometimes I get to see the show especially when there is someone singing that caught my attention. I will have a look at it and will get the chance to see a little of both shows. I also noticed that there were a lot of pretty girls and guys on ASAP. But more happiness and real talents can be seen on Party Pilipinas.

Correct ka dyan! Imagine at ASAP, Bea Alonzo would sometimes be made to sing and dance. And you can hear that she's just going with the pre-taped song! It's in PArty Pilipinas, where the real talents could really be seen, such as biritan!

Haven't seen Bea Alonzo performed in ASAP yet, but I think Bea can sing, right? I just don't know whether she's good at singing and dancing. I like Julie Anne in PP!

The thing about Party Pilipinas though, is i don't know the names of some younger generation artists. Though their face are familiar to me because i chance upon them in some soaps.

I'm more inclined to watch ASAP rather than Party Pilipinas, mainly because their stars are easier on the eyes. Talent-wise, I would still pick ASAP over Party Pilipinas, they're just more fun to watch. My favorite would be the Kanto Boys, though with Billy Crawford leaving, I doubt they could ever replace him.

Oh i don't know that Billy Crawford is leaving ASAP? Do you happen to know why? Yes, i am more inclined to watch ASAP. I get to watch Party Pilipinas only , when it's commercial and i don't like the one singing.

He's set to leave for France for his music career sometime this month. It's only temporary, not to worry =)

I'm actually not familiar with Party Pilipinas. What network is this shown? Channel 7? If it is, then I agree with you on the part that the artists of ASAP are indeed prettier. Well, this is what I noticed when I compared the two rival networks' talents. And yes, the competition of the networks is really good for the viewers since they always think of ways to one-up the other which further entertains the viewers.

Yes, it's GMA actually. So you have noticed too? I think it's obvious that at ABS the artists are really much prettier. Though, some may be good in acting but when it comes to singing and dancing, they're not. Competition, enables each network, to always make better their crafts. But would you agree that Eat Bulaga beats Happy, Yipee , Yehey, in terms of entertainment?

My parents too, in our hometown likes watching Party Pilipinas than ASAP. Actually, their TV is always on GMA, while ours in my parents-in-law's house are always in ABS, in the sala occupied by my mother-in-law. However the TV in our bedroom is always switching channels, specially when husband is already home from work at night. But when he is not around yet at night, i have the liberty of switching between GMA & ABS specially during primetime. Yeah, just try to watch , so you could compare.

Oh indeed you are a fanatic of ABS, angel. Me , i also watch mostly at ABS. But there are programs i also like in GMA. Examples are , Jessica Soho , Imbestigador and sometimes Party Pilipinas. And lately, i am watching Legacy, because My Binondo Girl will be ending this week. I want to have a teleserye to watch and look forward to at the end of the day, when i arrive home from work.

well...i guess depending on what station you love watching the most because for me i would refer to party pilipinas rather than asap. i don't know...i often watch this shows but enjoy watching party pilipinas more than asap...the artist may be pretty and handsome on asap but some of them are not that talented at all. some artist try to sing but have no voice at all...and some try to dance when both feet are left...all of the artist on asap are the actress and actors for that station so all they know is just acting...but on other hand in PP they may not have the looks your looking for but they have real talents to be proud of it makes them good and the best...^_^. hey don't be mad at me its just my opinion on this matter.

Well, i agree with you my friend. Some of those actors and actresses in ASAP were also made to sing at ASAP, when they cannot sing well at all. Others were made to dance too, but they look awkward dancing. But as to some who are really singers and dancers at ASAP, i can only say WOW! Yes, at PArty Pilipinas, they seem to be all biritera!

Like I have once written on my facebook, ASAP is a Parade of Beauties while PP is a showcase of talents. Both programs, in all fairness, are really good in their own rights that is why I watch them alternately like you. I just need to comment on ASAP though. I really think they need to introduce newer and fresher talents because honestly I'm getting bored with the usual faces. As with PP, they probably just need to find more original concepts because they are starting to mimic the style of the sessionistas.
