Is it possible to earn from Revenue share what you would from upfront earning?

I'm thinking of quitting upfront sites and joining Revenue sharing sites. From my activity on upfront sites, I would earn about $5 a week. Is it possible to earn atleast $10 a week from revenue sharing sites given, I participate honestly? How many articles do I need to have? How long does it take for the earning to start?
