So alot of us on here like American Idol. I have seen others post in this topic and i know i respond to it as well because i like watching American Idol and so does my family. So it starts up tommorrow and im so excited becasue TV right now doesnt seem so intresting to me unless im watching jersey Shore or Teen Mom. So are you excited that American Idol is starting back up again tommorrow? Of course we all like watching the first couple weeks because the funny people come on for the TV ratings and its all great.

I'm not as excited as I used to be. Sometimes, I think I just watch the show out of habit because I've watched it basically since the beginning.

American idol is back! Yes I love watching this and surely I would be very eager to watch this again as it comes back. I am so entertained with this show because there are lots of amazing talents and many funny ones as well. And the I love the judges as well and I should say they are as entertaining as the talents. So I could hardly wait to see the show again!

I just hope for the love of God they need to change the voting system. It has been problematic in the last few seasons, How can the best singer wins if the majority audience are teenagegirls who are text voting rapidly like there is no tomorrow to the guy they find cute. Also they have to make sure this year's winner will be powerful enough to sell albums and singles.

To be honest I seldom watch TV these days unless it's something news related. I used to watch American Idol often in the past, but I'll kinda fallen off on it the last few years. I might give it another shot this year. It's always entertaining the first few episodes. Besides a guy from my hometown(Michael Sarver) made it to the top 15 on there a few years ago.

I think that I will not be as enthusiatic as I am last year to watch this show. I gave up watching talent shows when American X-Factor shows up and I find it very corny. Although Ryan Seacrest's hosting talent made AI a little bit fun than that of X-Factor, the formula/cliche are the same - Funny, untalented contestants then competent contestants being voted off, judges making their own scene - I mean these are seriously tiring. Just like the other comment said, I think I'll just watch it in youtube, just the funny bits and pieces.

I only watch the youtube videos. Watching the very worst acts can be very funny! But I don't think I could stand watching it on TV. Unfortunately, there are British and even Greek copycat shows that are just as bad. Repeated endlessly - it just becomes too much!
