Anyone know an effective alternative treatment for bruxism (during sleep)?

I can't sleep with anything in my mouth so mouth guards etc are out of the question for me.

Try to have some stress reduction management and relaxation therapy. And even hypnosis is recommended in this cases. You can do it together by your health care provider.

I hate to jump immediately on the pill option, but...possibly pills under medical supervision? The benefits of stuff like Ambien can outweigh the risks, sometimes. I have never taken it myself, so I have no real clue apart from asking your doctor.
