I think there are many freelancers in mylot. I'm new to freelancer, still I could not find a work there. I read the bid properly and applied only for those which suits me. I got a reply from one employer. He gave mail id to contact. Since getting the first job is tough I did not ask for any milestone. Everything went well. I completed it and submitted to him. Everything happened outside freelancer. After that no reply from him. Just lost my hard work. Very bad experience... Is there anyway to contact the employer. Since the bid is closed, I could not message him. It is my mistake. I will take it. But how can I avoid these happenings in future. Please share your experience and tips to tackle this.

Hi I'm on freelancer to. It takes time to make money, the key is to bid on a lot of different projects every week. I ended up upgraded, I had twice as many bids and it worked out and some projects I worked on was product reviews start with that and build your rep. That's my advice, also bid on the projects that are better paying or long term. That's what I'm going to do on my next bids. Good luck

Hi Also be careful there are some shady companies on there you just need to know how to point them out. Make sure the employer only uses freelancer to pay you and if alarm bells go off in your head and tell you something doesn't feel right thrust and see the rules on freelancer I swear by the rules on there and I know when a job is shady. Good luck

DO your job inside the freelance site, not outside. The website can't maintain records, what is going outside. DO what ever inside the site, so that U can make a complaint there. Regarding work.

oh! its very sad that you was cheated by an employer.but it is your fault also ,you have to pay attention about everything you are going to do.but you are a new to freelancer ,so must read the FAQs of the Freelancer, after then you are able to understand the process of that. just because of your simple mistake all of your hard work is vanished.now be aware in future. don't do anything outside the freelancer other wise they(freelancer) are not able to trace your work and if they does not trace your how they can pay you.
