I'm sure about 95% of mylot population might have faced an interview at some point in their lives.. I've faced a few and am going for some others pretty soon. I feel confident about myself and I know that I will do pretty well. But I still can't help myself from feeling anxious.. Its hard to face one with all that anxiety inside. You try put in every effort to make yourself feel comfortable but you still can't explain what causes you to shiver when you face the interviewer. Best part of it is, that you spend loads of time preparing for the questions that may be asked and making your resume look as much appealing as possible. And once you fell you are there, then there's no stopping you. You are so much confident then, that you feel you can teach a thing or two to interviewer itself. But as soon as we enter the room and the first question is asked, the dark clouds of reality seem to surround us. :D I had to face many awkward questions in my previous interviews. I was prepared for some patent questions like "Tell me about yourself.." " Why do you wish to join our company..".. etc.. But not for something like ".. Tell me honestly.. we know that we've made you all wait a long time for your chance to come.. whats the reaction of the other candidates outside..??" And I was like ... "Well,... Ofcourse they want to kick your bud, you fool..." But I couldn't just repeat the exact phrases though.. otherwise, the very next moment I would have been thrown outside. So I had to make a few innovations on the spot so as to please him that there isn't any problem and everybody was ok with it... We all know that in 90% of the cases, nobody is honest or dares to speak truth about himself.. We rather prefer to make our answers up or say whatever comes to our mind at that moment and then we find ourself stuck in a pretty awkward position trying to cover up for whatever we have unintentionally or unconsciously babbled. I know many of you have been through such interviews and have faced such awkward questions.. Please do share your experience... :) Enjoy mylotting....!!

Just yesterday i did what they called an audition for a TV Game show to be a contestant, first time I have ever done something like that , I was talked into it by a friens, there were four of us, first we had to have our photo taken with a number seperately then the four of us had to be video taped then filled out a form with lots of questions then waited until we were interviewed, I was very nervous but a great experience..

@lilac lady, that sounds exciting. Can you tell us which one? Or do they swear you to secrecy?

I have never had that type of question about the other candidates. I do find that sometimes the interviewer judges you in advance and it does not matter what the truth is, you are stuck with the opinion that they have.

Yeah I guess he had made his mind about me and was just trying to cross check his assumptions. Popping such an unusual question at the beginning of the interview obviously means he was trying to bring me out of my comfort zone and see how do I respond. But anyway it went all good in the end. I guess I unknowingly babbled some words which were right on target...
