The ad had the opposite effect!

I just saw this ad where a guy has only one leg and then they show supersized soda. I assume they want me to stop drinking soda but all it did was make me Know I will lose my leg Because of soda so I better hurry up and live before the food Nazis take my leg!
I guess I am still suicidal. Once a doctor says you will die unless you stop doing this or that, I take it that I will die tomorrow!That is why I don't go to doctors unless I am ready to die! Have you ever seen or read an ad and taken it The Complete opposite?

I think that as long as something is donein moderation, there will be no problem. My bhusband is diabetic (for other reasons than soda and sugar) and beingdiabetic stays away from all that stuff, because he wants to live a little longer. However, that is his decision. If you want to live your life differently, that's OK. Mind you, you're probably not diabetic, so a little soda in moderation isn't going to hurt you.

There is no moderation when it comes to soda. It is the only liquid I drink! But I do eat less sweets these days and I walk a lot for work. So I guess I'm ok ... so far.

Haha I hate those commercials even though they make me laugh its annoying because there's always the one mesage they are trying to get across to you and then they completely turn it into something else. I hate brainwashing.
