Don't you find it weird where technology is heading

I have seen on tv that soon we would have a plastic like foldable notebook or like laptop. it is just made of foldable plastic as thin as plastic really. And so we can fold it and just unfold when we want to use it. it will be so handy. BUt i just find it so weird if technology goes this far. I wonder if would further develop into notebook that is made of paper like materials that can be folded or solid carton like materials. or made by thin metal. It seems like any thing is possible now. But i don't like the new technology they are heading to. I do feel that it makes life like we are living in a life that we used only to see in movies or in a dream or wishes.

A few months ago I watched a Discovery channel program that featured a company that is trying to make something like that, wherein a super slim screen was embedded in the newspaper or a magazine. They were able to make a prototype of it but still need a lot of improvements before they can actually mass produced it.

Woah! Now you can fold an actual laptop! How is that even possible! 
That's is very convenient but i there a catch? There has be to catch! Technology has been evolving pretty fast too. I can't imagine a notebook made out of paper! It's like you can scrunch it up, put it in your pocket and when you need to do an internet search, just unwrap the paper and there you have it! Your laptop! Next thing you know, we will have robot,s maybe robot servants like the movie I robot and then one day technology make try and take over the human world. But who knows! I am looking forward to how much technology can change. But I don't like the idea of people having to spend money just the the latest technology. I still prefer my desktop computer than an ipad or whatever.

yes i think we must organize a group to stop this technology that make our life not normal any more. like if robots would do every thing for us that we would not have a job or any thing to do any more in life. but if that would give opportunity to travel the world cheaply with advanced technology and enjoy my personal life more, i may consider. but it depends on how this technology would affect my life.

with the advancement of the technology i feel proud because i feel that i belongs to such a race which is growing and developing such and immense rate. daily we come to know about some of the new invention and its always intresting to know that what is going to be next. but somehow i felt horror in the thoughts too. let me share it with you as well as we all have seen in the transformer(movie) that one day robots are going to control all. we are making them so much advance day by day and once they realise they will start destroy the inferior one and thats who we are.

Technology is really evolving fast. I think that it would be cool if there's really a foldable notebook or something. I have nothing against technology, as long as it's helping people to make things easier and convenient then it's ok. I wonder when they can make cars fly.
