When you lost your best friend how did you get over it?

I have lost my best friend because we both decided to change our life and ourselves but the problems was that we where going in different roads.Because of that we couldn;t get along..so we split.It's kinda hard because she was my best friend she knew me, but now that we changed i can't recognize her and neither she.What "recipe" did you use for that?

A best friend is a treasure that none can replace.
