Newspapers and the internet are replete with reports of babies and toddlers who have lost their precious lives in bathtubs, buckets or basins with water, swimming pools, portable pools, etc because of negligence. Who is to blame? Have you been involved in a situation like this? Describe how you administer a bath to a baby. Do you know how to apply artificial respiration to a drowning child? Suggest how we can help save kids from drowning.

We can save child only by making the parents aware of the fact that the babies are the future and valuable to this present World.

What if you witness a mother busy on something while her 2-year old toddler is playing on a pail of water. What will you do?

The best way to save toddlers is to never leave them alone near water pools or near line cables.. You should be careful enough all time.. Kids are kids and they will be very hard to stop from anything... At least keep a trusty nanny with her always..

its better to have nanny to the baby alone so that nanny will see to it that she can keep an eye to the baby. in my case i always check to lock the bathroom and dont let any basin nor water visible to her and remove all obstacle in my baby's way. in the case of swimming pool its important to always close the door nor if ever the baby is out door then keep an eye with the baby nor dont let the baby near the pool. im a very protective mother to my baby and we always keep an eye of her thats why if shes awake we stop doing our work and attend to her unless theres one available to do the work. i saw a lot of mother her in my country they just let their kids play alone while they are doing their household work while me i dont let anyone work if no one is looking to my baby and follow her every move. now that shes in the province and our house is just right beside the street and my baby love to go out and run along the street so i pay for nanny just to look after her as i cant sleep thinking that she might go out while my mother is asleep during the day and im thinking of vehicles if shes out and running. i am willing to pay for nanny even if its expensive if its the only thing to make sue that my baby is safe.

Thanks for a well-detailed discussion on how to take care of kids away from danger. I approve of hiring nanny, however extreme standard should be made in the choice of maids. They must be the types that are trustworthy, dependable and most especially find caring kids a joy.
