Most of the new cells double up as MP3 players. The new Nokia and Sony Errichson's for example. Will the Ipod survive?

nah.. i really don't think so. if the trend continuos that cellphones have big storage, they will be more preferred than ipod or music players.

Ipods will survive because they play music better than mobile phones. They are also lighter and smaller (the Nano versions), and for the other versions I don't think that we will see pretty soon a phone with 40-80 GB of memory space. I choose ipods.

iPod will definitely survive! It think it might even have the possibility to call with it in a couple of years...

I think theres no comparison between Ipods & Cell Phone but Latest Cell Phones are better and there is no need of Ipod if you have a good high quality Cell phone.

How much battery power does the music player part of a cell phone use? It would be cool to listen to music on your phone, but not if you have no battery power left to talk on the phone.
