If you buy food at the restaurant, will you eat there or take it away?

Mostly I and my family eat the food at the restaurant. If my kids are at home, and they know I am near McDonald's, they soon ring me up and want me to buy them some. So,I order a couple of takeaways. What about you? Do you spend your time hanging out at McDonald's enjoying some food there?

I like eating in McDonalds too especially the fries, mcfloat and chocolate sundae. We usually eat there to enjoy the food more and the ambiance too.But there are instances that we just take it out or call for delivery especially when at work or in a hurry.

Yes, mcdonalds offers best delivery service. My office once had a party and we ordered it via delivery service. How many mcdonalds are there in your city? There is only one in mine.

We usually go to the drive-thru to buy breakfast during weekends. We kind of get a bit lazy to prepare our own meal. Besides, my son loves having the pancakes, sausage and hash browns. They serve this in during breakfast. Other times, we just have it delivered. It's really very rare that we eat inside the restaurant. The fast food atmosphere doesn't really appeal to me. I mean, if I'm taking my family out to eat, I'd prefer that we go to restaurants where we're served food and not have to line up.

of course if your family requesting some food from fast food you will order for take home since they are not around right? its more convenient than let them go out and go to the restaurant just to eat, its time consuming unless they are with you outside then of course you will prefer to eat in the restaurant than take the food home and eat as it will only add to clean dishes after meals. so its simple as if they are with me outside then we will eat outsideif they are home then ill bring hoe the food and eat with them if i want to eat with them now if im in a hurry and want to rush my self at home then ill took it home than eat alone outside unless im with my friends. its as simple as that.

I and my family seldom eat out. We cook lunch and dinner. For breakfast, we usually have no time to cook, so I'll rush out to a nearby foodstall to order some for breakfast.

If possible, i would prefer to have my food at the restaurant since it's fresher and hot. I don't like the idea of take away food unless i really have no choice. Besides, i'm not one who has the patience to wait and if there's any take away required, i would ask my bf to do it for me. I don't like to queue for period of time, only to bring the food home, and having to warm it up again. However, take aways via phone calls, is not a problem for me, since it's their responsibility to ensure my food reaches me as soon as possible, in the best condition.

I see. How happy you are to have a bf who can help you take the food to you. And you are right, it's better to eat there and something to talk about with someone you go out with.

I don't mind eating or taking home the foods. As long as i eat my favorite meals. LOL. But when i do eat in fastfoods, i like to spend a long time. Especially when i'm with my friends or family. I don't mind other people eating there, they don't bother me. LOL.

LOL, you are definitely right, friend. Many young people like spending a longer time in fastfood places. It is not because of the food but the comfort of being there, I think. LOL.

we hardly ever go out to eat because we cant afford it. however, hubby and i got a couple of restaurant gift cards for Christmas (not mcdonalds) so we will go out to enjoy them. it is nice not have to do the clean up or take care of doing the dishes after eating.

Most fastfood restaurants, like mcdonalds, are more expensive. There are traditional restaurants that sell cheap but good food located near the center of traditional markets for those who can't afford the fastfood restaurants. The difference in price is quite big.

Here most restaurants will not provide you take-away food. You have to stay and enjoy the meal in the restaurant. So we will have a meal in the restaurant. If there is leftovers, then we will pack it and bring it home. I love China

Depends, if we want to eat there - we would. If we do not feel like - we take it out.

I like to do both. Sometimes we eat inside the restaurant and sometimes we order takeaway, it depends what we are doing that day. If we have plenty of time we sometimes eat the in restaurant. If we are busy and just want to get a quick meal we order takeaway and eat the food in the car. I don't visit McDonald's very often. There are no McDonald's on my island, so we only eat there when we visit one of the neighbour islands or the city where my parents live. Most of the time we eat at home, because we want to save up money for travelling.

I agree with what the others have been said - it really depends on the type of restaurant. A traditional diner for instance, or a place like IHOP is an excellent place for eating in, an I can't imagine ever getting my food to go from there. I mean really - why would I order the breakfast platter just to put it in a box haha. And then there are places like traditional restaurants, where of course, I would eat in no question. It seems a bit silly to order food from a place that is designed to be a sit-down restaurant. I guess I could see if it were really busy and you just wanted to enjoy it at home, but then I think you are missing out on that restaurant "experience". As for traditional take-away places like my local Chinese or Indian cuisine - no I don't really enjoy eating there. I think these are the places where take away is key, so ordering by phone and picking it up, and then taking it back home to eat in front of the TV or even with your family is perhaps the best way to go about it. But fast food on the other hand - that's where the line is blurred for me. I love meeting a friend for a quick burger at Mcdonalds or to grab a shake at Wendys or something, and if it's a planned lunch, then of course we will eat in. But then again, there are definitely times where I've just wanted to order my food and take it straight home to enjoy by myself. Overall then, I would say again that it just depends on the type of establishment.

I hate eating alone in public places! For me eating alone is just only when it has to be.So if I am with friends I eat at the restaurant, if I am alone I take the food away to my place.

Well,I seldom buy anything at McDonald's.Firstly,my hometown is not so big. There are not so many fastfood restaurants like that.Second, here, restaurants like that mostly lie in the economical center, which are far from my home.Only when my family go shopping can I have a taste. What's more,I don't think it's good for our health.

Where do you live? It sounds to me that you live somewhere in London in Zone 6. Like you, I also don't really like fastfood for the simple reason that it is not good for health. I prefer home made food. It tastes better. But my kids are so hooked on mcdonalds, so we go out to eat it there or have the take-aways.
