When I was much younger than today, I listened to songs by deep purple, guns and roses, uriah heep and many more. Besides the currently popular music, I still listen to some of them. There are certain occasions I like listenng to Indian music. "Dil Hai Tumhara" is one of them. I enjoy it very much. What about you? Do you only love western music? What Indian Music?

I'm not into indian music because i don't understand their language. Furthermore, their music is too fast for me and i can barely hear anything. No offence to indian music, but that's the way it is for me. I prefer slow rock or love duets, to raps and blues. Alternating between different genres expose me to many options available and learning more at the same time. I don't have any favorite singer till date even though i have many favorite songs.

I understand if you don't like Indian music. Besides the language that you don't understand, you are not familiar with the rythm either. When I was a kid, I was exposed to the rythm, which in the long run, rooted in me.

I've listened to very little Indian music actually, but what I have listened to seems to mesmerize me.I not only like western music as we define it, but there are many amazing forms of music that have originated in Europe that I also enjoy. But I am definitely going to look up more Indian music now and add it to the already diverse interests I have in music. Thanks for posting this.

You are welcome. Indian music seems to go worldwide. In the UK, Indian movies are are much seen and enjoyed. In Indonesia, Malaysia, they are well-liked. I don't think Indonesia movies are watched outside the country. I like "Oh, Sahiba" , an Indian song, which is still well-liked in Indonesia as well.
