Time as come for selectors to change the selection policy. I just want to ask the selectors , If top three players like Sachin ,Rahul,Laxman retires, do u have players to replace them.Again india will face a bad patch in cricket.Give ample opportunities to youngsters and select them by their consistent performances. If we take Australia they even have a strong secondary side and equal replacements. The only good thing that india did in this series is cemented ponting's place in Australian side.Ponting would have been out of the team if any strong bowling team have toured Australiain place of India.

Yes, it was a pathetic show in Australia. No excuses there. Loosing 4-0 to England is okay. The England team we played against was just great and it has become more and more tough to beat England in England for many countries. Even Aussie struggle in England's own backyard. Their side has won many series including Ahses in the recent past. But loosing 4-0 to Australia? I mean Come on... This Australian side we played against is very inexperienced and hasn't won many series recently. Their inexperienced bowling attack was no where near to the English attack so yes, loosing to them was pathetic. But I don't think replacing the seniors of India will make any massive difference. The replacement should happen gradually. One by one.
