having big overhaul

Today, I have flat tire when went to my workplace. Since it is very late, I decide to take my day off from office. I went service station and order a service for my motorcycle. When it was repaired, the service man said that it need a lot of repair, not only the tire, but also the chain and so on. I guess I just replace the chain only 2 years ago, and having the big machine overhaul also 2 years ago. What do you think about the interval? it is normal or too short. I think it is too short.

Not too sure about how long it is, I have never driven a motorcycle or know much about them. I might say or guess really that it seems about average to short. They break down just like cars, I'd imagine.

Yes it is true that it is difficult to determine the service interval. I just think that it should be longer than cars. Because it is smaller and lighter, so the machine does not suffer much.
