Its GOOD to acknowledge when your child does well in school.!!!!..

My grandson's school took students from the school for a outing
yesterday...They went to a mall where there were lots of amusements.
Now it wasn't free, the parents had to pay $30.00 per child but it
included the entertainment, pizza and drink...The children also had
to bring money so they could do some shopping...
This trip was for students who earned to go on the trip...Its was an
trip that was earned by the students who has been great in their
school work, academics, attendance, and ability to follow directions...
I thought it was great for the school to make the effort to show
the kids that being good in school is not only their obligation but
it had many benefits..
My grandson was happy to tell us that he had earned the trip and we
were just as happy to hear it..
By the way the school took three bus loads of good students...there
were 131 students...
I thought that was great!!!!!

It's not just good to acknowledge them for what they did in school, It is also a Great Idea to always praise your child, when they did well in school. That is really a wonderful idea that the school take your grandchild for an outing yet it was an educational one.

That is great! Kids should be acknowledged daily and this is just wonderful. Showing kids they are on the right track is very smart. And earning things is very important. Kids need to learn that there are great things to be earned. I am glad to hear that the schools are doing this for kids.

I too believe that we should always acknowledge our kids when they've done real well in school. This is a good way to further motivate them to do good in their studies. It also teaches them the concept of rewarding good work which eventually they will experience when they grow up.

dear bjc66bjc, its my first time to know that a school took out students as a reward for good works in school. Usually it's the parents who give the rewards, an outing or educational trip is just part of their school year activities. But its a good idea for the students to strive harder :)
