As a common Chinese citizen living in the countryside,I have been seeing that great changes have happened in China since the past 30 years, especially the Chinese peasons have been given more and more care and preferential policies, more than 0.4 billion people have succeeded in shaking off poverty. But Mackain who's one of the American comgressmen said that ......'The spring of Arab' should arrive at China!Doesn't he want the developing of China?

I have no problem with China developing. I do have a problem with factories closing up shop in the US because the labor is cheaper in Asia and then turn around and wonder why sales are down... we don't have the jobs to splurge always on things that are not necessities.

I have heard that some of Americans are complaining about Chinse grabbing Americans' jobs,I think that kind of complaining is not fair because manufacturers has right to choose where they can open factories,China is not to blame at all!

When did your nieces move to Canada?I hope they have known much more about China though they are young.I don't like and I don't want to find how dark it is somehow in China, but what I have seen around me is something that's the most basic in China.I believe you will learn more about China, and if I have time,I'll tell you more later.

i am not afraid of them and whatever country. since the things which worry me most is to get a stable income, such as a good job and other earning opportunity. if they get develop, because they work hard. they are good entrepreneur and have many customized and creative ideas. if people learn to become innovative, they would not become afraid of other success as they also learn to get busy to improve there own lives.

Hello, Oldsix, I'm glad that I can learn a something about your country from a real Chinese. All I know is from media and films. The last big news was the visit of the German chancellor Merkel in Beijing. It was important for the business and shows that China is a rapidly growing economy and Germany is ready to skip the problem with the human rights. By the way if you follow the news from the Arab countries you will see that Westerners did a little mistake with the tag "Arab spring". The developments there are not so optimistic. But, again, there is a lack of real understanding of the local situation. I'm glad that you have a better life now and I wish you more improvements.

I can say you are lucky to have me as your faithful friend.Yes,I never tell lies as long as I tell something here because I never like telling lies. Merkel is bright to do that because you can't use an unperfect thing against China since everyone is perfect in the world, and the world can see that China has really been developing all these years in many side as well as the human rights. Yes,Western powers always want the rest of the world to rule their countries as their Western ideas and styles,it's not realistic and fair! Hehe,I'm a poor man,but I never feel poor.Have a nice day!

China is a developing country and it's going to be bigger than the US. With an emerging power, it's natural for some other countries to be scared of it since there's a chance to overtake them any time in the near future. It's the same like Brazil, just that they are not developing as fast due to restrictions and many more. Take a look at middle east, they are fast developing, especially abu dhab.

Hehe,if you said that before an American, maybe you would annoy him or her. Yes,no one can stop the other countries from developing once there are proper opportunities, and all the worryings and interruptings are in vain!

First, I recommend China for coming up with affordable goods that even the most poverished countries can afford most of those goods that would have not been possible sometimes back. I do not expect other countries to be so much appreciative of what is happening in China as it is perceived as threat to other countries. On the other hand, no one has the right to incite another person or a country to rise against the government. If Chinese are happy with their government, then it should be no one else business to decide for them what to do.

Hehe,a thief is always afraid of a kind man becoming stronger! But you can understand that the kind man has to make himself stronger so as to scare away those who are not good to him.For so long there have been some countries that has been hoping the Chinese government to fall down, but they've failed so many times.I think all Chinese people love our government as long as it can take good care of the most of Chinese.

I think the ordinary person in the world finds China a bit of a mystery, I must admit I am not sure as we hear a lot of conflicting information on China, I would be very interested in knowing the truth so I could make up my own mind how I feel about the future in that area.

Hi,Lilaclady!I am the half of your age,so what I think must be quite shallow. But what I know is true though it's not total.Of course there are still many things that doesn't satisfy us and the world, such as bureaucratism, bribery and corruption, yet most of the Chinese people have had the happiness from our country's developing.I hope you can learn more about the new China now.Great health with you!

I am not afraid of development in China, it is good to know that Chinese people are shaking off poverty and benefit from Communist party's economy policy, if that is the truth. But in reality, there is still a wide spread of poverty among Chinese people in all major cities, so it is hard to believe half a billion people have succeeded in fighting off poverty, may be making more than one hundred dollar a month is considered as rich in China according to the communist standard, then i do believe China had succeeded beyond all imagination and all impossibilities. No "Arab Spring" is possible in China, unless these Chinese People who are seeking for Freedom want to get massacre en masse by the communist regime; if not, they better don't test this murderous regime inside their country.

Don't you think so?But it's heard that many Americans never believe there has been so many changes in China these ten or twenty years. In the major cities maybe there are still people whose income is not more than 100 hundred dollars if they are not skillful, but most are not too poor,of course they cannot compare to you Americans. And in the countryside, every family has benefited the reforming polices. I think all Chinese people love their reforming fruits more than the damned "Arab Spring"!

The name is actually McCain. However, it sounds exactly like you spelled it. That's the great part of English. No matter how much you learn the rules of the language, there's always an exception the defies all logic. There are some that would want China to not develop. Those people are not the majority. Most are perfectly fine with China growing. I personally want everyone to succeed. The more people who are not impoverished, the better. However, this is not what McCain was referring to. The Arab Spring, was about the Arabian people getting more freedoms, and more control over their government. China still has a tight fist around the public. They don't have freedom to question, or even oppose the communist party of China. There is still censorship of thought, and a control over the media. This is what McCain supports. The Chinese people having a government for the people. Not ruled with absolute power of the Communist Party. But McCain has no problem with China becoming more wealthy, and neither do most Americans. If anything, we're a little ticked off that our government is messing up our economy.

Hehe,I'm not learned at all.Thanks,Andy77e! Yes,I think that the development of China will do good to all Chinese people as well as the world. But there is always someone who has the opposite opinions, and that's normal. I agree.I think that poverty is the worst reasons that can bring the other problems. I always think that as long as our government has been helping most of the people, then we don't have to complain more. And I hope American government will be able to recovery her economy as soon as possible.

Hello Oldsix691418, No i am not afraid of development of China and why should one be afraid of it. Its good to see that an Asian country too be able to compete with US and other developed countries in development. China no doubt has emerged as a strong nation in these few years and the way it is growing it looks it will be the most successful country in the coming years.

You can say that. But I think that the development of China never means that China will stand against any other countries' development. Our government has been assuring that the present national policies that's carrying on in China will do good to its people.

That's so fine to say like that because we cannot foresee everything and we can't expect China can become perfect in a day but the government has really done something good to the most these years.May China and you be lucky!
