All of those continents have some cheap countries where it is lovely to go off traveling to. I believe to save money it is best to choose countries that don't require a visa. For example I would be allowed to visit the Philippines for up to 21 days without needing a visa. There I would have plenty of time for island hopping and snorkeling. In South America I hope to be visiting Argentina and Chile this year. I have had some lovely cheap trips in Eastern Europe like in Poland, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. I haven't been to the cheapest countries in Africa just ones I wished to. How about you? Which countries in these continents would you like to go to? Have you found any other places in the world economical?

I think South Korea is lovely to go to. And the prices of things in South Korea are low except food. But I do not if you need to get a visa for visiting South Korea :).

I also prefer to visit countries where I don't need a visa, because it is cheaper and easier. I am able to visit most countries in Asia without a visa if I only stay in the country for 3 or 3 weeks, but there are a few exceptions: Russia, China, India and Nepal. I prefer to visit the other Asian countries first, and I have planned 3 trips to Asia already: Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam (the first trip) Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia and the Philippines (second trip) and South Korea, Taiwan and Japan (third trip) I thought about visiting China when I visit Japan etc, but I need a visa to get into China, so I will probably visit the other countries first. At the moment I am saving up for the first trip to Asia In the southern part of Africa I want to visit South Africa, Nambia and Botswana. In the Western part of Africa I want to visit Ghana, Senegal and the Gambia. In the eastern part of Africa I want to visit Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. I also want to visit some of the countries in the Northern Africa for instanse Morocco. I think that Eastern Europe was a cheap place to visit compared to my own country. I was very surpriced when I discovered how cheap Romanian food was. My husband and I only spent about $10 when we had dinner in a restaurant, that would have been impossible in my own country.

I went to Hungary in 1990 and needed a visa. I loved it when visas were not needed for Eastern European countries any more. In 1996 I went visa free to the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland. Then in 2003 I went to Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia visa free. I traveled to Romania and Bulgaria in 2006. I would love to visit Russia but the visa being hard to get puts me off. I very much like hearing about where you plan to visit in Asia. I think that visiting Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos will be a lovely trip. I have heard Brunei is very expensive. Yes, I also would need a visa to go to China. I visited Kenya in 1997 and didn't feel well with the anti malaria pills I was taking at that time. I loved visiting South Africa in 2009. I have heard some wonderful things about the Gambia but again anti malarial pills would be essential. Morocco is a short distance away from Europe yet it seems very different and exciting. I loved visiting Denmark but I find Eastern Europe is far cheaper.
