how to sort and keep in diff. groups

guys,.,. my gmail is flodded with all facebook notifications,....and finding my important emails in those emails is my problem.,..
how to filter those mails like fb notications wil go to one folder?? frends emails goes to another,,.,others will go to othrs..,.?
