I used to hate my teacher before because I feel that they made my life worst. But, as I become more maturer, I should consider them as my friend rather than an enemy. If one day, I'll meet my teacher in the street or anywhere, I will greet them and ask them on what's going on in their life.

When I was in college I would often go to school to visit my teachers. Sometimes I would even meet some of my teachers in market or some party and I would never forgot to meet them and wish them. The amazing thing I found was they would never fail to recognize any of their students from any batch. It was really strange how could they remember so many students and that too with their names. Some of my teachers have left deep imprints on my personality.

Parents and teachers do play 2/3 of the role of shaping us and preparing us for life outside of school into the unknown world of business. We play that other 1/3 with the choices we make. My husband and I met at high school and when our 30th reunion rolled around we were back in the same state where we attended school. We did go to the high school and took a look around and found a few teachers still there and had a nice chat with them. Talking about old times, new times and what we were all up to. It was very nice and they loved that we came back to see them and the school to.

I'm too busy with my offline job to visit my beloved teachers frequently, but at least once a year, maybe on Christmas, or New Year's holiday, I come to their house with my friends to celebrate parties. Those were really fun, and we do the parties each year. We try to keep things like this when we get married and so on...

I never have met up with any of my teachers over the years and don't care to. My teachers.my real teachers, have been friends and being out in the world. Don't get me wrong! I did learn stuff from my school teachers and some from my parents! I learned the must form life and the friends I have made over the years! Those things I really am proud of!

Hi Ritzz, if one day i have the chance to meet my teachers, i really wants to meet them. Because through them, i had managed to become the person whom i had wanted to. But, i know it is hard to know where they are now, since i had been far away from my hometown now. Besides that, majority of my teachers are by now is seniors citizens, so i think by now they had retired. Not sure where they live. Only time will tell if i have the chance to meet any of them in future.

Hi! I want to meet gain my teachers especially in high school, we often visit the school but most of them resigned. We should be thankful for their patience for us to learn. They are part of my life and I want to share my happiness with them because I owe them something. Being a teacher is not easy and I hope someday I would be able to thank them personally for what they did for me.:)

Of all my high school and college teachers, I only appreciate and remember a few of them who have contributed a lot to my attitude and disposition in life. In high school, I remember my Filipino teacher who always give us challenges during her class which I usually grab. She would make us analyze Filipino sentences and identify the parts of speech every word in them. This teacher made me to take challenges in life with caution, as I learn to take the challenge by being prepared. In college, I remember my basic accounting professor. This is the only teacher I had that gave me a 62 rating in one of the tests she gave us. The reason? Every mistake she notices in a simple bookkeeping exercise shall be met by a 2 point deduction from our overall grade for the exercise. Unfortunately, my carelessness gave me away! Despite the failing grade, though, in that exam, I appreciated her keen eye for detail. As an accountant now, her memories of that incident made me to be cautious of my and of my subordinates' mistakes. She made me to be always careful of what I am doing. Certainly, should I meet one of them, I will definitely treat them for a meal and will engage them in a lengthy conversation.

Such a nice thread! Yes, meeting teachers is obviously very nice. We shift places, and sometimes we would not be able to meet the teacher we wanted to meet all these years, suddenly one fine day, you see THE teacher at some place, not finding any words to express your feel, gratitude!! I have had one such fine moment in my life..! And you know it gives a sense of satisfaction and happiness even when i think of that moment now!!

hi ritzz! Very nice topic, i really appreaciate remember our teachers, because of them our self and academic development grow. Even your successful individual or not, we should still see our teachers before, why set up a reunion of your few classmates and teachers. Last year we did that, and our teacher was very happy to see us there. they become emotional to the point they have teary eyed for joy cause we let them feel our appreciation and love for them.

I like to know them mostly because.. It interests me. I like learning about people's lives and teachers are people too - and they aren't as "mean" or "weird" as the students think teachers are. I wish people could remember that teachers are people with a home and a family too, and would stop pestering them so much and thinking the teacher's whole world revolves around them. That's why I like to learn about them, so I can teach the other students a thing or two about who people are.
