Chocolate Covered Potato Chips?

I could never understand how some of those food combinations could be good. I think the worst I have heard is apple pie with cheese and ketchup or chcoolate covered grasshoppers. Blech.

I definitely have some combinations that sound gross, but are actually really delicious! One would be bagel pizzas - so mozzarella, pepperoni, tomato sauce, but on a cinnamon raisin bagel. The salty pepperoni actually compliments the sweet raisins perfectly I think!! Another combo is a favorite of one of my friends, and that's dipping piping hot french fries into either a bowl of ice cream or a milk shake. They love going to Wendys, ordering a "Frosty" and fries, and just sitting there dipping them one by one. I couldn't believe it when I first saw it, but again, the sweet/savory combination is actually very tasty. One last combo that I thought would be weird is French's mustard with carrots and cucumbers. It's got a real nice tang to it that's a bit like ranch, but a little more sour. Anyway, I'm glad you brought this topic up, we need more crazy food combinations to push the boundaries of our taste buds!
