Relationship between parents and children.

A perfect relationship between parents and children should be like friends. I hope I can be so nice and be my son's good friend. Sometimes it is difficult, especially when my son makes something wrong. I love China

I think the best relationship that parents and children can keep is communication. It can mean a lot. Communication means to listen, to talk, to care and so on. My parents do it all the time. I remember when I was little, my brothers and I always competed to tell everything that happened at school, important or not. We just tell everything. And my mom and dad always listened to us and gave comment when necessary. My mom would still be doing the cooking and so on, but she listened to us. Every single word. If we went home and didn't say a word, my mom would know there's something wrong. Even until now, my brother has got married, and I work all the time, we still share everything to our parents. Even my sister-in-law also does the same. It keeps us stronger everyday. :) And the benefit is that I can listen to my students' stories and make them fall in love with me. :)

I think that is is important to get the balance right between being a friend and being a parent, because if you get it wrong you really could spoil their childhood by not creating the right boundaries for them. I always got on well with my parents and I was able to speak to them like friends, however I always knew that if I did something wrong I would almost certainly get punished for my mistake. My parents got the balance absolutely right, and I appreciate that because it meant that I was always well rounded and able to form good relationships with people.

As a parent friendly but watch them with cross eyes, advice them at right time and right manner.
