I dont know about you but when I get noatalgia memories, I miss so much the things that are not the way they used to be that it almost makes me cry. My current life is going the way I planned it but still, rremembering shows tv programs friends and other things from past tikes really gets me down. i think it is almost like death, you never get used to the fact that somethings change and never go back.. how do you feel aboit nostalgia?

Usually when things around us are changing, we are also changing ourselves whether we notice it or not. So we are changing with the times. It is only possible to stay out of changes if you are staying in a time-wrapped zone - you locked yourself in a room with no contact from the outside world - no TV, no internet, no communications. We all miss the good old times but we do enjoy the modern apparatus the the new age has brought to us. I feel we need to always live today like there is no tomorrow to make sure we won't regret may years later not valuing enough what we have today.

I also have that experience. my life is also better now but whenever i reminisce my past seems like i wanna go back. What i usually do when nostalgia strikes, I think of the things that i have now. I usually tell myself that if i am not now in my current situation, i might end up regretting so my decisions in life are good and i should not regret. There are really things that we want to happen again, but instead of living in the memory why not make a new one?

I have some nostalgic moments once in a while especially when I'm really tired from my work. I guess I miss those days when I wasn't that pressured in life, doing the things I want when I want. I'm not having regrets or anything. Like you, I'm still on the right track with regards to my plans (a few minor detours along the way but still on track). But I'm not yet conceding that those days are over. I mean, after a few more years of hard work, I think I'll be living a bit similar to how I had lived when I was still younger :)

I usually have nostalgic memories i I hear songs that I used to hear back when I was a teenager or eat food that I used to like. It sort of flowing back and some bring tears to my eyes. People change over the years and we been through a lot of thing. It's part of growing up process.

A lot of times, they are just good memories of another time. However, there are just going to be a lot of times where people tend to cling on nostalgia to an almost pathetic manner. Granted, we tend to look like what happened through of youth, meaning our childhood and teenage years because let's face it for many its all downhill from there, through some rose tinted glasses even though it is not that much better. Sadly(or not sadly) life is rather going to change a lot of the time. You just cling onto the side and try and wide out the waves the best that you can. It can be rather hit or miss how well this is done but there are times where we long more for another time. A time that we assume to better. However, while we have some good memories, if we think logically, the good old times might not be as good as we had assumed right in the past.

I get nostalgic memories once in a while too especially when I am feeling down and not too good. I am very happy with my current life situation but still I miss my childhood, school and college life. Sometimes, when we have a family gathering we talk about our past and try and bring back the memories but it still not the same thing and I wish that we could go back to our past and relive it. However, it is not possible so we can only think about it and the best thing is to make the most out of your present and think about the future
