I just bought a new netbook at the mall last few days and I don't like the Linux Operating System. Do I need to reformat my hardisk in order to install Window Operating System? I have a Windows Operating System and it is in ISO format. I don't know what to do first. Please need some little help.

You do not specify what Windows OS you will be installing and what Linux OS is installed but I found this page with a help guide : http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/dual-boot-windows-7-ubuntu.html or if you want to totally remove the Windows OS if there are no warranty issues, then you can format it and install it as if it is a clean install http://www.wikihow.com/Install-a-New-Operating-System-on-Your-Computer and http://www.ehow.com/how_4424376_install-operating-system-computer.html and install Windows 7 for instance http://pcsupport.about.com/od/operatingsystems/ss/windows-7-clean-install-part-1.htm Note all the processes above will take some time.

You don't say what netbook it is, not all are compatible with all versions of windows. You can check here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/default.aspx Secondly, you need to ascertain if your netbook is 32 or 64 bit. If 32 bit, which is sometimes confusingly referred to as x86, then Windows 7 offers little advantage over Xp all the best urban

I am not a computer wizard but i have tried installing one in my Hp before and i found a guide in the disc itself. I suggest you just try and see if their is a guide in the disc and just follow. If there is none then maybe you can go back to the mall for assistance or wait for more responses here. So sorry for the little help. Good Luck!
