Have already made E-KTP? Several months ago, I had to make E-KTP. But until now, E-KTP not yet finished. The validity period of my KTP, ending in January. I need KTP, to take care of motor STNK. I tried to ask to Kecamatan. And I was very surprised, because I have to make KTP again. I was wondering, why E-KTP require a very long process. I have to make KT again, if I do not want the fines, because of delays in care renewal KTP.

constraints have not been reaching record numbers the parent population (NIK) from e-ID equipment is lacking, every keluruhan in the capital, only two devices and is not proportional to the number of residents who have served. possible, with penembahahan tools for each area, will speed up the process of e ktp.

e-ktp is a new program of our government to prevent counterfeiting ktp. but in fact e-ktp create new problems, namely the making takes a long time, this is a new homework for the government. hopefully this does not continue to drag on...!!!

i agree with you i think mendagri should check his man readiness before launching the good program.. i agree that this program is really good but without good support from many party, the good program can`t be effective and we as people did not feel the result of this program

I also do not know. Why is this happening. I thought, Ektp could be in one week. But, it must wait for months. Makes me have to take care ID card twice.

till now I don't have E-KTP yet. sometime I confuse too if I have to think about E-KTP.my origin is Semarang city, now I live in Palembang with old KTP Palembang which I easily get through "Biro Jasa Pembuatan KTP" with the address is my office.if I have to made E-KTP I don't know where do I have to start it, am I really Palembang citizen or not also make me doubt and also, I live in new housing ( kind of "perumahan" ) which I didn't hear yet the making of E-KTP -but other regency made E_KTP too. may be the way making E-KTP in Java is easier than in Palembang, but for me it's complicated. I stand on my old KTP. I have 2 KTP : KTP Semarang & KTP Palembang. I hear that E-KTP is only valid for 6 months, is that true?

i think you only one KTP if the government really using this policy with E-KTP,it means every people only had 1 KTP but valid in any place in all indonesia you should not worry about it..you can use your address in semarang and your e-ktp (with the semarang address) is valid in Palembang not worry about it..

Normal ID (KTP) renewal in my place only take less than a week. But for E-ID, I don't know (I can't renew it because my ID still active) I believe it because E-ID still new and like usual, birocracy (low level) in our country very slow on new thing

It possible, ..... but somehow I doubt it. My reason: E- KTP socialized by kelurahan. If they offering (not socialized anymore) this option (E-KTP), it mean kecamatan already supported.

To make KTP usual, did not take long. But, to make E-KTP, require a very long time. I deplore. kecamatann party, do not tell me, to keep KTP, while waiting for the E-KTP. Because of my ignorance, I thought KTP care late, so I have to pay a late fee.

i think some of officer in kecamatan office is not ready when E-Ktp procesing.. it takes many expert which can operate computer and some design software like corel draw, photoshop.. you can see many of kecamatan officer did not know how to type in computer and so on so how come the times for procesing E-Ktp can be done in the short time? iam pessimistic..

Actually kecamatan officer know how to use computer (even just basic). But problem is their birocracy procedure much too long. That make them work slow.

Policy made by central government who live in Jakarta. In Jakarta, kecamatan and kelurahan had good quality officer but on other regions not have officers at same quality ...... and policy made based on condition in Jakarta

Your new identity card that you are trying to get for your motorcycle license is "e-ktp" or still the old one? If they issue the old one again, that's strange. I doubt the "e-ktp" will be issued. The "kecamatan" will face a big problem. The process that has been through was only taking people's photograph and personal data. The system is not yet ready. I haven't had it made myself since my old identity will expire in 2014.

It's a big project. The government has spent a lot of money to start this "e-ktp" making in all provinces. Who doesn't want money? If the project hadn't been launched, the fund would have been returned. I see it that way. I was invited to a meeting held by the world bank that concluded that there was about 15 - 20% of the project fund was corrupted. The corrupted sum was probably bigger than that. I once had the conversation with one of the contractor managers who wanted to get a job at the Public Work office. He said that he was willing to get only 60% of the total fund and let the other 40% be given to the officials. 60% that he might get already include his profit, , if his profit is about 20%, only 40% goes to the construction. No wonder, the construction is easly destroyed. right?
