I am looking for a free and unique video editing program

I am into picture, audio and video editing lately. I just found it so interesting and really fun, especially after seeing the results. I really like it. Originally I was just into picture editing. It started when I saw my sister's wedding pictures. They were so nice and looked professional. It was really done by a professional though. I wanted my pictures to look like that. On my wedding, we didn't hire a professional photographer. We didn't have much budget for that so I edited the pictures myself. I wasn't very good that time though, well I guess I am not sooohh good at the present still but I am quite satisfied with my work. Now I got into video editing. My husband's family is big and there are always gatherings and occasion in a year and we take a lot of pictures. I wanted to showcase the picture in a video with really nice music and that's when I started editing videos. Then, my daughter who loves to sing and can memorize songs easily also inspired me to make videos of her and uploaded them into youtube. Now, I want to move to the next level when it comes to editing videos. I only use WIndows Movie Maker and also NCH Video PAD for the videos I make. The latter is not free so after 14 days it had expired. Now, I'm looking for free editing video software which is unique and has more features than the Windows Movie Maker. Any suggestions mylotters?

Two programs I would recommend you take a look at are Cyberlink PowerDirector and Magix Movie Editor Pro. The PowerDirector software is a notch above the windows editor and easy to use - perfect for beginners. The Magix Movie editor is much more powerful and has a slight learning curve but I think you would still like it. Cheers, Stan
