I'm a sucker for foreign movies and I do take time to do research. I came across this movie trailer in youtube months ago and I was intrigued about it so I read some reviews about and finally been able to watched it.The movie is from Africa and directed by Justin Chadwick. It is a true story of a 84-year old Kenyan man who wants to go to school to avail a free education for all offered by the government. What motivates this man to go to school and learn to read is the letter that he kept for many years. Despite of rejections, this man never give-up his dream. His goal is to read the letter by himself. The movie is not all about an old man going to school but how someone value freedom and what are the cost of it. This movie teaches me how to give importance and how rewarding it is to be a teacher.
