When life was at its own sweet and even pace, poetry had its pride of place and reigned supreme in human life soothing and comforting those who sought it. Now it seems to have lost out to prose, the most dominant form of writing today. Poetry, which is considered prose run mad, does not seem to have the power to take center stage in our life. Will poetry be able to climb up the ladder of popularity once again as in the days of old?
