Frankly, the Philippines is rife with sad happenings of fetuses wrapped in boxes or clothes and left in garbage sites to die and rot. Scrap collectors, street and garbage cleaners and the media most especially can attest to the veracity of this matter. Is this true in your country? Suggest how to solve this problem. What do you think of abortion? What is your idea of sin? Post your reaction.

I read from the internet a doctor that earn from doing abortions and he adopted a kid but was killed in a car accident. He said only then he realized he was killing someone else child. It might take karma for people to change but sad not everyone has their own share of karma.

Was it the adopted child that was killed in the car accident? Do you mean the doctor had no karma for the earnings he derived from abortion? I just want to make things clear.

cowboy...I made use of your link and was more than satisfied to know the issue of abortion in those places. It was shocking, horrible to read a doctor's admission to have performed 75,000 abortions. What is gratifying is that the practicing doctors made a turn about, perhaps prompt by their conscience and the holy spirit. The link provided me truly helps.

Killing a life is always a sin. Abortion is still killing and it's no excuse. If we are going to dig deep on the root cause of abortion is because of money, acceptance, and environment (people around you). If we solve this problems beforehand and knowing the consequence of our actions, we surely won't get into abortion. It is sad that because of these problems, the baby inside the womb will take the punishment who in the first place is innocent. All of us must be educated and be responsible enough before making any bad decisions in life.

This is what I can say in response. No matter what the fetus is, it should not be aborted. He may be "fatherless", product of a wrong decision, conceived despite contraceptives, etc.; before Christians he is divine, He must be brought forth into this world with all the care, love and the comforts he can possibly have from those around him.

Once a baby is born its not a fetuses its a baby and especially if it took its first breath in the US that is abandonment and also is attempted to murder in some states. A lot of women that do this is normally young teens. But to my knowledge this has been a lot less in the US over the years. Because every state now has where a parent can bring there child to a hospital, fire department or police station with no questions asked and the baby will put in to either foster case or adopted right way. When it comes to abortion I don't think its a sin but I do feel that they are taking a life away from this world that is meant to be here. I'm all pro life as my husband cousin would say to me. But I also feel its the mothers choice what to do with her body even if I don't agree with a mother doing so I can't stop her and its not against the law. As a song I heard every child is a gift from god.

Thanks for your view and for taking the time to explain the issue prevailing in your place. As regards abortion, I'm of the firm belief that you're far from doing it.

Yes I'm far from doing something like that to any child of mine. I have a daughter I couldn't see my life with out her and I certainly now that I'm pregnant again I don't think I could see my life with out this one either. I might be young but I'm far, far from that kind of person. I wouldn't get an abortion at all even if it kills me I wouldn't want one. I couldn't even give my kids up for adoption.

Here's my view on conception and pregnancy. If women abhor carrying fetus in their womb to term then abort them later on, they should do all possible means to avoid conception. We have in our midst contraceptives of various design. Any comment from your end.

It is hard to even imagine that there is someone who can do someting like this. Those people do not have any feeling, they are monstrums. I really do not understand why people do not consider a situation of pregnancy before. It is unhuman, unmoral and I am loosing a words for description of such people. I would do the same with them, that would be maybe the best option.

It's not good to hide truth. In my country people are loving, caring and hospitable, but really abortion or killing of unborn babies happened then and now. I myself don't approve this practice. It is inhuman, immoral and mortal transgression of God's immutable law- thou shalt not kill. I hope this case don't happen in your place. Any reaction?

I've never heard of that happening in the USA! But that's not to say it DOESN'T happen :( It would be a crime over here though.

How about singles who got pregnant? Do they give birth in normal places without pretense, fear, shame? The reason could be the culture there. Kindly explain.
