with crime on the rise, it is wise to prepare ourselves. however how do you protect your home and family. One option is with a weaponry to protect : but not to kill. in the same context we have a weapon called stun guns. these disrupts the attacker's body by generating high/low voltage electrical charge with low amperage. the charge is not intense enough to do damage to the body, however it would make the attacker temporarily immobilised to give you time to take corrective action and protect urself. so how many of you are self protected and how?

I think that it is very important that we are all able to be safe in our own homes, and security is one of the most important things that you need to think about. In my country, we are not allowed to physically harm anybody, even if they are breaking into our house, so having a weapon to fight against them is just completely out of the question to be honest with you. You should make sure that all of your doors and windows have strong locks on them so that people are not able to get into your house when you don't want them to.

Maybe you meant burgler in the title. If you did, the answer is as simple as you want it. If you want a simple answer than taht is yes. The complex answer is: There are few people that I fear, and a burgler is not between them. Thiefs are scum of the Earth, and most of them are untrained, only desperate and have no other choice, so there is nothing to be afraid of, when you know the basics in self defence, and you have just a tiny bit of courage.
