how to communicat with my parents?

I am worried about that how to communicat with my parents. i am 24 year old now, but i can not still understand how to make myself do something what my parents want me to do. i just want to be myself! i don't want to be a puppet!
but i am sad when i do what i want to do that my parents hope me not to do, because they love their son so much! they are angry when i do something.they hope me no to do!
so i do not known how to do now!
i will be myself or a puppet?!

I would only be worried if I am doing something wrong that may get me into trouble later on but if it is usual disagreements, I would not be bothered so much since I know I am doing the right thing. The best thing to do is to explain to them and let them understand the importance of whatever you choose to do before doing it.
