If you have bank with this online bank called "Ing Direct", you might know the recent news about Capital One will take it over sooner. I just have been with Ing Direct for 2 years, and I am certainly satisfied with their service and their products. Much better than those giant banks that existed. But with acquisition of Capital One, I just have doubt whether I should bank with Ing Direct in the near future. Many thoughts had emerged on my mind. Would they change policy, or would they provide the same products as before. I might have to wait and see. What do you think? If you already banked with Ing Direct, would you consider take your money to somewhere else?

This is a shame. I really like ING and thought they would be around for a long time. It is the only bank like this. They did us right and also gave a pretty decent interest rate in the past. Now it is bad, very bad--but so is the economy. Now what to do.

It is such a bad news if online ING Direct is taken over by another big bank on the block. It is quite certain its service and product quality will deteriorate after that. I may well get ready to close my account soon, thank for the information. Those big banks are branching out everywhere and taking over every banking market including the cyber space. Sigh!!!

Hopefully the acquisition by capital One can't pass the muster of the online banking legislation or FCC' anti monopoly litmus test. The acquisition is such a bad news for all online banking customers.

I'd rather put my eggs in several baskets. Just in case, bro. We don't know what crops up. Will it be to our benefit or not. Better act now to spread it to several places.
