I guess the only way to inculcate this change is to educate men and strengthen women simultaneously. When i say educate,i mean imbibing some moral and religious values in men, educating them to learn to respect and care women. We must make men realize their duties and responsibilities. On the other hand, we can empower women by training them to fight against any kind of mental or physical abuse. I admit that the change will not occur overnight but gradually things will change and one day, with our best efforts we will make a society in which men and women both will be treated as equal and women harassment would no longer exist.:)

That does not help..we need something that monitors adrenalin in men the way we monitor sugar in diabetics.

What can we do after monitors adrenalin in men, that need a lot of hospitals and laboratories. All we need is to look carefully at the religious and moral education, and then be the role of the wise men in the re-routing and reform., But strengthen and empowering women may have a risk to men.

because women were not treated equally with little opportunity. most of the higher jobs, even in politics and medical profession, be it business or whatever occupation. t is the man who get listed first and once the women stay on the house to care for the babes , the household etc..so i think the society permit such abuse and women are also to blame somehow they let the abuser abuse them. if they fight they would not likely get abuse.

Most of societies traet women equally with men. and i agree with you that the women theself is a part of the problem, because they allow this violence from theit spouses.

Violence against women has been one of those terrible things that are historical in context. I once read that 90% of folk songs depicted violence against women. The fact that we are considered more of a commodity than a person is a huge problem. Television reinforces it and so do pressured gender roles. Even as babies we are separated by colors and the types of toys we are allowed. I think that it will take a rewiring of society so to speak for there to be any real changes in this area. There are a lot of agencies that help women that come from abusive relationships but there are unfortunately laws where marriage is concerned that keeps them from being fully protected.

Let us be fair..not all of us are made from the same things..so some are more irrational and tend to get annoyed more easily and are more greedy..what we can do is include perhaps a check on adrenalin. Periodically prescribe medications to people more likely to get annoyed. Just what needs to be prescribed is anybody's guess..

If the person could not be controled in his action, do not fit with anything even adrenalin. Life between the couple must be based on respect, love and kindness. If we lost all that there is no meaning to continue.

I think the best way to battle this violence against women is to empower the women and to make them realise that they are not as weak as they think they are. They should not tolerat an abusive relationship. Women should stand up for their rights and defend themselves. They should not be submissive to these relationships and take a stand against this violence. They can get help from the different organizations in their society set up for these kinds of situations. Also, it is important that we educate the men in our society from the very beginning. Their upbringing shouls include education and importance of the respect of women...

Women should have the pride and dignity, and from the ground does not allow such behavior. It is depend on the woman and her personality, there are courts that can be used and resorting to its decisions. And if the women had become convinced of the impossibilityof life with her husband, shall have the right to divorce.

Government or parliament can play a role in making policy or legislation that could suppress violence against women. As well as law enforcement officers provide optimal punishment to perpetrators of violence against women in order to ensure a deterrent effect

You are right, it is the responcibility of Government, But it is also the responcibility of those women whome are silent on that non-human disposition.

I think it's difficult to do it since those who did harassment towards women are mentally twisted. any suggestion to them will just go unheeded.
