Hi! it's summer time once again and I can't wait to hit the beach! But there is a little problem which I or some girls are worrying about when summer comes.summer means getting a hot weather and exposing more skin to keep you comfortable and feeling fresh. But there are some girls who have these extra unwanted hairs on their body. And if you are a beach bum, wearing bathing suits for the girls is a must. And my question goes like this, if you were to hit the beach and you know that you have to eliminate those unwanted hairs on your body, which do you prefer doing? To have it waxed or to have a threading?I'd like to hear views from my fellow ladies ;)) and views from men are welcome too of course :-* thank you very much ! happy lotting :-*

I like waxing because you can keep away those unwanted hairs for about a month or longer than threading. Besides, it is less painful than threading because it can only be for one time or two before unwanted hairs of a particular area in your body would be removed. Usually threading is recommended for your eyebrows and such. But it is still in your discretion on what you prefer.

Me too...I prepare waxing. Threading is just like shaving, unwanted hair grow faster.

I have read an article about how to avoid ingrowns but I haven't tried it yet. Anyway, it states that you need to apply apple cider vinegar on the skin to avoid it. About waxing, it is wise to read the instructions and follow them well to have a good results. Maybe you pulled the cloth sheet opposite to the direction of growth of your unwanted hairs. Or maybe you applied something on your skin with 4-6 hours after waxing. The instruction I read states that we shouldn't put anything on our skin within that span of time to have maximum effect. Do try it and tell me if it works. :)

I tried waxing on my legs... but I hate the ingrown hairs because they're itchy.. I stopped waxing now. I wonder why they said waxing can keep away unwanted hair for a month but in my case, they grow again after a few days... did I do something wrong in the procedure?

I'd never done threading, but I have done waxing for years. I love how it works, it feels and it keeps. I've also starting doing it myself to save money and it has worked fine. The good thing about waxing also is that it takes away a big area in one pull, the threading takes longer and its smaller portions of hairs that it pulls. Good luck!
