Itchy sunburn!!

I was at the beach this weekend and on one day I forgot sunscreen. My back ended up getting pretty red and my face got a little burnt. Two days later it's pretty much gone but now my back has been super itchy. I'm not peeling or anything but this is the first time I've gotten itchy from a sunburn. Lol it's pretty annoying because I can't reach some of the itchy spots. I really wish I hadn't forgotten sunscreen. I'm usually really good about putting it one because most of my family has had skin cancer and had potential cancerous spots removed. I think I might put aloe on my back and see if it takes away the itching at all. Have you ever gotten itchy from a sunburn?
